Built in 1820, the Rosalie Mansion stands as a fine example of the Federal-style mansions of the time, incorporating the social history of the 19th century through authentic rosewood furniture created by master John Henry Belter, antique household items and children's toys. The mansion features four acres of outstanding gardens that overlook the mighty Mississippi River, can be rented for weddings, displays an antique doll collection and also hosts a beautiful annual Christmas celebration. The historic residence is located west of downtown in the Historic District, near the waterfront.
