Description:

The Grand Village of the Natchez Indians was at one point in history the center of political, social and religious dealings of the thriving Natchez people. Today, all that remains of the once stunning village are three platform mounds, a ceremonial plaza, and the remnants of the original living area. The museum on the village grounds displays artifacts actually unearthed within the village. The village is located south of the Natchez Regional Medical Center.
