The Auburn Mansion was originally built in 1812; at the time it was considered to be one of the finest homes in the area. Today, the red-brick building has been renovated and furnished with period antiques. Highlights of the home include the gorgeous Corinthian columns that adorn the front of the building, and the free-standing stairway that winds its way to the second story. The historic home is located in the historic district, near the Duncan Park Golf Club.
